MDaaS Global (NG) Raises $1.1m

According to various reports, MDaaS has raised $1.1m from upto 12 investors.

MDaaS is a MedTech initiative, in the business of building and operating tech-enabled diagnostics labs in underserved communities.

Founded by Genevieve Barnard and Oluwasoga Oni in 2016 to help hospitals access top-of-the-line devices and provides ongoing service support to ensure equipment remains operational, MDaaS was incubated at MIT. 

Their first center was established in Ibadan in 2017, and the company claims it broke even within 6 months! The company has brought in advanced software solutions, invested majorly in an integrated supply chain and shares resources with communities in different locations.

The company was part of the first TechStars Impact cohort in Austin, Texas in 2018. MDaaS also raised funding to the tune of $100,000 from Venture Platforms in 2018.
