MaraMoja Introduces Luxury Rides

In a bid to stave off the competition (aka Uber and Easy Taxi), MaraMoja has introduced a luxury rides service to its list of offerings. Now everyday Nairobians can get a luxury vehicle to take them to their destination of choice just by logging on to the app and tapping the luxury tab.
The company announced its partnership with Exec Cars, a Kenyan company dedicated to ensuring safe, comfortable and reliable transportation for its customers that boasts of a fleet of vehicles including Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Mercedes, Range Rover and Land Cruiser V8. All the vehicles are fitted with GPS trackers, satellite navigation and are driven by university graduates who have been taken through extensive customer service training to make customers feel like VIPs. They also offer armed and unarmed close protection and airport fast track service.
According to MaraMoja the rides are available to anyone whether they want to get home after a party, get to the airport, go for a meeting in style or impress a client. All one has to do, is open the MaraMoja app and request 'luxury'.
MaraMoja's luxury service is currently piloting at select locations and times. However, users can tap on the luxury tab on the app and get updates on when it will be available in their area.
MaraMoja also used the opportunity to announce that it was wrapping up its Boda Boda (motorbike) service and promised that they plan to restructure and perhaps reintroduce the service at a later date.
MaraMoja has also updated its web app, adding some new features and clean code. According to MaraMoja, "After several months of work, MaraMojas unfathomably dedicated engineering and design team have rebuilt MaraMoja's web app from the bottom up. New look, new feel, new features, new codebase. We've cleansed the scourge of our PHP legacy from the app and are now fresh and clean with Node.js and React."
